Brighton Dance Festival
In-Person Safety Precautions:
The health and safety of our community is our number one priority.
Here are some of the ways we're keeping everyone safe at our in-person festival programming in 2021:
Limited capacity in all training programs, with large studio spaces to allow for safe distancing
All dance studios have large garage doors for open air circulation (weather permitting)
Frequent sanitizing each day
Hand sanitizer stations throughout all venue spaces
Our faculty are mindful of keeping dancers spaced apart and avoiding partner work during classes
All participants are asked to self-monitor for any covid-19 symptoms and should not attend the festival if they are symptomatic, have tested positive for covid-19 in the past 14 days, or have been in close contact with someone who tested positive in the past 10 days. If you cannot attend the festival due to covid-19, you will receive a full refund.
Masks are only required for non-vaccinated participants when it is not possible to maintain a 6ft+ distance between others in an indoor space, unless you are exempt from wearing a mask for other reasons. Fully vaccinated participants are not required to wear a mask. (Fully vaccinated is defined as two weeks after your second dose of the vaccine or two weeks after your J&J one-shot vaccine).
In addition to the above precautions, we will strictly adhere to all local health department recommendations to keep our dancers, patrons and community safe.
