Brighton Dance Festival

In-Person Safety Precautions:

The health and safety of our community is our number one priority.

Here are some of the ways we're keeping everyone safe at our in-person festival programming in 2022:

  • Limited capacity in all training programs, with large studio spaces to allow for safe distancing

  • Most dance studios have large garage doors that remain open for fresh air circulation (weather permitting)

  • All studios are equipped with air purifiers that will be running during each class

  • All main entrance and side doors also remain open during the day

  • Frequent sanitizing and increased cleaning each day

  • Hand sanitizer stations throughout all venue spaces

  • Our faculty are mindful of keeping dancers spaced apart and avoiding partner work during classes (or allowing students to opt out of partner work)

All participants are asked to self-monitor for any covid-19 symptoms and should not attend the festival if they are symptomatic, have tested positive for covid-19 in the past 14 days, or have been in close contact with someone who tested positive in the past 10 days. If you cannot attend the festival due to covid-19, you will receive a full refund.

At this time, masks are optional for all participants and attendees. We encourage all participants to do what they need to do to feel safe and comfortable, and ask that attendees do not make anyone feel uncomfortable for their choices.

In addition to the above precautions, we will strictly adhere to all local health department recommendations to keep our dancers, patrons and community safe.

If you have any questions or concerns about our precautions, please feel free to contact Kathy at info@brightondancefestival.com
