William (Bill) Charboneau began dancing seriously at the age of 17, and continued his training in the Maggie Allesee Department of Theatre & Dance to receive a Bachelor's of Science in Dance from Wayne State University. While in college, Bill also attended the Bates Dance Festival and ACDA, delving into several styles and genres of dance to round out his dance journey. William has performed professionally with Michigan-based companies, Michigan Dance Project (Brighton) and ArtlabJ (Detroit), and has had the pleasure of performing alongside many Midwest dance companies and schools. Bill continues to spread the gift of dance by teaching at several locations in Southeast Michigan, and offering several styles of dance. Bill believes versatility and actively expressing yourself, as well as the connections we build and receive through dance, are the reasons and intentions behind every class and performance.
